When to import 3D Models

Importing 3D models is ideal for designers, product developers, and teams who already have base 3D assets — whether created in CAD software, sculpted in 3D tools, or downloaded from libraries — and want to:

How to import 3D Models

  1. Create a new file or open an existing one.
  2. Click the insert button. Choose the option to upload your 3D model.
  3. Select your 3D file. Supported formats include:
    • .glb / .gltf
    • .obj
    • .fbx
    • .stl
  4. Position your model on the canvas. Move, rotate, and scale the 3D asset to your desired view.
  5. Sketch or render over your model. Use brushes and layers to draw on top of the 3D volume, create annotations, or generate coherent renderings.
  6. Generate a rendering. Use the Generate button to produce a high-quality render that incorporates both your model and sketch work.
