Understanding Vizcom Credits

Manage your usage and get the most out of every credit in your plan.

What is a Credit?

A credit is a unit of usage in Vizcom. When you use a credit-powered feature, a set number of credits is deducted from your balance. Different features have different credit costs depending on their complexity — the cost is always shown before you confirm an action.

Who are Credits for?

Any Starter, Pro, or Education user who wants to understand how credits work, what features use them, and what to do when their balance runs low.

Your monthly balance

Every plan includes a monthly credits balance that resets at the start of each billing cycle. This is your base allocation; it does not roll over.

Plan Credits Included per month Ability to purchase Add-ons?
Starter 800 Upgrade to Pro
Pro 20,000 Yes, purchase anytime
Enterprise Custom Contact Sales
Education 15,000 Yes, purchase anytime

For Education Users:

Edu (Solo)

Single-user · 1 seat Your account works just like a Pro account. you own it, manage it, and control your credits directly. There are no shared pools or org-level roles. Credits: Your credits belong to you personally and are not shared with anyone else. Buying credits: You can purchase credits anytime, since you’re the account owner.

When to use this: You’re an individual student or educator who wants Edu pricing without managing a team.

Edu Organization

Multi-user · 2+ seats A shared account for teams, classrooms, or departments. An admin manages billing and credits, while editors (typically students) use the shared balance. Credits: All seats draw from a single shared pool managed by the admin. Buying credits: Only admins can purchase credits. Editors can use them but cannot buy more.

When to use this: You’re setting up an account for a class or group where one person manages billing and others just need access.

Base Credits vs Add-On Credits

For Pro & Edu users only, there are two types of credits on your account:

How credits are drawn down: Base credits are used first. After purchasing add-on credits, they will kick in once your base plan balance reaches zero.
